Phang Nga

The province is one the most famous in the south, known for its wonderful natural attractions such as the stunning Phang Nga Bay, the idyllic Similan and Surin Islands National Marine Parks and the sandy coast of Khao Lak. Phang Nga bay is one of the most stunning bays in the world, with a deep blue sea, amazing rock formations and many charming caverns scattered throughout the bay.

Rated as one of top 10 diving destinations in the world and one of the best-known island groups in the Andaman Sea, the Similan archipelago comprises 9 islands. Established as a National Park in 1982, the Similans are a must for all travelers seeking unspoiled islands, spectacular coral reefs and rock formations, a stunning underwater world and colourful marine life.

“Khao Lak” – A quiet destination known as a the pristine natural coastline of the Andaman Sea. After the disastrous 2004 tsunami, Khao Lak has made an amazing recovery, and now its long beaches are as beautiful as they’ve ever been.
